Children's Art Course (Ages 9 to 12)

What They'll Learn
Art Techniques & Skills – Students will explore various art techniques, such as drawing, painting, mixed media, collages, lino printing and sculpting clay, developing confidence in their creative abilities.
New Materials & Textures – This course encourages experimentation with a variety of materials, including acrylics, pencils, watercolours, oil pastels, clay, and more, allowing each child to discover their preferred medium and style.
Creative Themes – Every session is centered around fun and dynamic themes, from nature and portraits to abstract design and still life, stimulating their imagination and encouraging original thinking.
With air-conditioned classrooms and child-friendly furniture, Art Academy provides a comfortable and inspiring space for students to explore and grow as artists.
This course is designed to ignite your child's creativity, build new artistic skills, and help them develop their own unique artistic voice. Whether they’re just starting their artistic journey or building on previous experience, this course offers the perfect blend of fun, learning, and artistic discovery!
Course Details
Mode of Study: Once weekly (1.5 hours each lesson)
Duration: 10 lessons
Location: Art Academy Mosta (131 Constitution Street, Mosta, Malta) or Art Academy Zurrieq (88, Triq Matteolo Saliba, Zurrieq) or Art Academy Nadur (Triq Agius de Soldanis, Nadur, Gozo)
Requirements: Students will need to bring their own art materials
What’s Included: Upon attendance of 80% of the Course, students will be accredited for their Informal Learning, thus given a signed and stamped form for their Informal Education by the Institute.

Tax Deduction on Fees paid for Cultural and Creative Courses:
Parents of children under 16 who attended any Cultural or Creative courses at Art Academy are eligible for a tax deduction scheme of up to a maximum of €300 for each child. Parents are entitled to claim a deduction against their chargeable income of up to a maximum of €300 for each child.
You don't need to do anything, we will apply for you after the completion of the course.
