Since 2005, Art Academy Malta has been the ultimate hangout for creative beings. We started in the town of Mosta, and now, we’re also rocking it in Zurrieq, making us one of Malta’s biggest private accredited art and design schools.

At the heart of our company are the visionary minds who brought it to life. Our founders, Jackie Micallef and Charles Micallef, share a passion for the visual arts, a dedication to excellence, and a commitment to making a positive impact. With their diverse backgrounds and complementary skills, they brought Art Academy to life in 2005. Their journey is a testament to the power of collaboration and the pursuit of dreams.

    Jackie Micallef, a renowned Maltese artist, has captivated audiences since 1999 with her vibrant, textured mixed media paintings.

    Combining her extensive art knowledge with a strong business acumen, Jackie co-founded Art Academy with Charles. Their shared vision and complementary skills have transformed Art Academy into a thriving hub of creativity and innovation.

    Jackie's dedication to both her art and the business continues to inspire and enrich the artistic community.

  • Co-Founder & Managing Director

    Charles, a Business Management graduate from the University of Malta, embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with a vision and drive to create something impactful. At the young age of 23, he co-founded his first business venture in the vibrant town of Mosta alongside his partner, Jackie.

    Their shared passion and determination have fueled their success, making them key players in their industry. Charles' dedication continue to inspire and steer the company towards new heights.
