Our Summer Art Camp 2026 is an exciting, hands-on programme where young artists can explore, create, and have fun while learning new skills. Over 8 weeks, students attend three mornings a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays) in a welcoming studio environment designed for creativity and exploration.
Course Details
Schedule: Tuesdays, Thursdays & Friday
Starting Date: Tuesday 14th July 2026
Time: 8:15am till 1pm (4.75 hours)
Total: 24 sessions
Location: Art Academy, 131, Constitution Street, Mosta
Each week introduces new projects and ideas, encouraging students to try different techniques, express themselves, and build confidence in their artistic abilities.
Learn from Professional Artists
Our Summer Art Camp is led by a team of 10 professional artists who bring real-world experience, creativity, and passion into every session. With backgrounds in fine art, design, and creative practice, they guide students through each project with expert techniques and personalised support.
Through demonstrations, guidance, and encouragement, our instructors help young creatives develop new skills, explore different styles, and build confidence in their own artistic voice. Working closely with experienced artists means every session is inspiring, engaging, and designed to help each student grow—whether they are just starting out or already developing their skills.

All Materials Included – No Supplies Needed
Everything is fully provided, so students can simply arrive and start creating.
There is no need to bring any materials or equipment.
This includes all:
Drawing and painting materials
Clay, ceramic paints, and kiln firings
Textiles and craft materials
Tools, equipment, and aprons

Course Funding
Tax Deduction on Fees paid for Cultural and Creative Courses:
Parents of children under 16 who attended any Cultural or Creative courses at Art Academy are eligible for a tax deduction scheme of up to a maximum of €300 for each child. Parents are entitled to claim a deduction against their chargeable income of up to a maximum of €300 for each child. You don't need to do anything, we will apply for you after the completion of the course.

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at creating your own ceramics? Our Pottery for Beginners Taster Workshop offers the perfect introduction to the world of pottery, where you can get creative with clay and discover the joy of crafting your own pieces.
What to Expect:
Beginner-Friendly Experience: This workshop is designed for all levels, from complete beginners to those looking to explore pottery in a relaxing setting.
Pottery Techniques: You’ll learn the essentials of hand-building techniques such as pinch pots and coiling, with our expert tutor guiding you every step of the way as you shape your piece.
Creative Exploration: Experiment with textures, patterns, and other decorative elements to make your piece a one-of-a-kind artwork. Let your creativity flow as you personalise your design!
Firing and Collection: After the workshop, your pottery piece will be bisque fired to harden the clay. Since the firing process takes time, your piece will be ready for collection within approximately one month. We’ll notify you once it’s ready to pick up and take home!

Immerse yourself in the understated craft of traditional leathercraft in this 3.5-hour workshop, where traditional techniques meet beautifully considered design.
Guided by an experienced leather artisan, you’ll work with high-quality leather and hand tools to create two refined everyday pieces: a hand-stitched leather glasses case and a matching keychain. This workshop is designed as a calm, tactile experience — unhurried, detailed, and deeply satisfying.
No previous experience is required; every step is demonstrated with care, allowing you to focus on craftsmanship, precision, and finish.
