ABOUT CERAMIC BISQUE
All the above pottery pieces are ceramic bisque. Ceramic bisque is pottery that has been “bisque fired” — or fired once — in preparation for final glazing & firing. Bisque ware is not a mature piece of pottery, but a thrown or hand-built ceramic piece that is now hard, dry, and ready to be decorated with glazes or underglazes After glazed, all pieces are glazed with a clear glaze which is food safe and dinnerware safe.
